Dave already knows that a Megamouth ate the ball he’s looking for. In Dave the Diver, you can find the kids’ ball by killing the Megamouth shark about 230 meters down. Typically, during a dive in the Blue Hole Depths, approximately two Megamouths are present; however, the children’s ball can only be found in one of them.

Swimming into the Blue Hole Depths

Swimming is the easiest way to reach the Depths of the Sea People Village. After leaving the front gates, swim out to the left and up into the open chasm. You had to clear this out the first time to get to the Sea People Village. You should see the blue-marked Megamouth shark right away. It is the one that ate the ball. Dave even shows you where they are, so you can tell if they are the right ones.

Facing the Fearful Megamouth

The only way to get the ball back is by defeating the menacing Megamouth

At first, I thought I had to get them to eat Dave in order to get the ball back. The way these sharks move pulls you toward their big mouths. But killing the shark is the only way to actually get the kids’ ball. They are one of the most dangerous creatures in the Blue Hole Depths, so bring your strongest weapon. The Grenade Launcher is my favorite because it is powerful and comes with a good amount of ammunition.

Find the Children’s Ball in Shark Died

Follow Dave as he retrieves the missing ball from the belly of the defeated Megamouth

Watch out for when they’re about to do the suction maneuver and run away from them. At some point, it will die, and Dave will pick up the ball after you take what you can from its body. Now, all you need to do is go back to the group of kids and give them back their ball.
